Bear Family Candles

It all began as a fun project to create our own candles. My daughter received a gift of a soy candle and she absolutely loved it. So we did a little research and decided it might be fun to try and make our own. I bought a candle making kit - and that was it! I fell in love with the creative process and the science of candle making.

Our logo was inspired by the strength of family, and the gentle spirit of the bear. Bears and the folklore surrounding them have always been a central theme for us representing strength, independence, courage and protection.

With our busy life, our little family loves to recharge in nature and breathe in the clear mountain air in northern New England. And who doesn’t love a yummy baked treat at the end of a beautiful day out of doors.

Bear Family Candles are handcrafted with care in small batches to ensure quality and offer a clean, slow burn. We use 100% soy wax, cotton lead free wicks, and phthalate free fragrance oils.
